We require a $250 deposit upon booking. Full payment must be made at least 1 week before event is to take place. If the event goes beyond the original time frame we give the option to extend service. Upcharge starts at $100 each additional hour.
Full Refunds will be 90 days prior to event. 50% refunds will be honored within 60-90 days prior to event. Anything under 60 days no refunds will be honored.
Yes, we are covered by liquor liability and general insurance.
A dry hire bar is a bar service that "does not provide or sell alcohol." In other words we provide everything EXCEPT the alcohol. In this instance the client buys and technically owns any alcohol served at an event. The Social Stir provides mixers, garnishes, drinkware, napkins, ice, etc...
During the consultation we work with you the client on creating a detailed work order of all alcohol to be served at your event based on the number of people and your featured cocktails. We offer suggestions based on our knowledge and get a feel for the type of crowd you will be entertaining and their drink preferences. From there we create a work order to ensure we have the right amounts and most cost efficient path to your event.
It is purely the clients responsibility to provide any additional alcohol. During our initial consultation we do work diligently to avoid this being the case. That said sometimes things don't go as planned and some items may run out. However the bar never goes completely dry, they'll always be something to drink. Any leftover alcohol is boxed and sealed unless directed otherwise.
Based on initial consultation we work to ensure there is ample supply for adult cocktails (excluding shots) for the duration of your event. That being said unforeseen things can happen during an event and sometimes 1 type of alcohol or beer may run out but the is never fully depleted.
For liability purposes we reserve the right to ask for and check ID's at any time for any reason.
